250 word synopsis
Pistachio

Pistachio was found as a wee babe with just his name and a child sized guitar by a nun named Gusha. Gusha likes him off the bat and decides to try extra hard in his teaching and bring up so that he is a well-rounded individual and has a better chance at a good life. Pistachio has other plans. He doesn’t care for his lessons and spends all his time on his guitar. As he gets older he becomes better and it becomes clear that he has no intentions to be well rounded, so he frequently skips class. Gusha, furious tries to talk to him. He ignores her so se takes his guitar and hides it in her room. That night Pistachio takes it and runs away to be a street musician. He succeeds and starts getting bigger and bigger crowds. Eventally he gets a show at a small club. They love him. Then he has enough money to buy a beautiful guitar has been eyeing. With the new guitar he plays better. He gets a show at a bigger club and rocks it. Finally he gets a spot on a symphony. He is filled with pride. It’s the night of the show and he is sad. He looks to the crowd for comfort and finds it when he spots Gusha, the nun from his orphanage, crying and waving, proudly, he smiles, feels better and gives his all to the warm crowd. He succeeds.
